Norton 360 is an all-in-one protection solution that enables customers to feel safe and secure while conducting all their everyday computing activities.  This easy-to-use, comprehensive solution combines a full circle of protection including PC Security with industry-leading virus, spyware, firewall protection and intrusion prevention, Identity Protection, Network Monitoring, Backup, PC Tune-up and One-Click Support. You can also install the optional Norton Add-on pack for parental and privacy control features. 

Norton 360 offers faster, more thorough antivirus and anti-spyware scanning using both signature-based and SONAR behaviour-based detection techniques. It takes a far less intrusive approach to security and protection by behaving like a screen saver. It handles security, backup and tune-up tasks in the background by scheduling those tasks when it detects idle time or periods when a user is not actively using the computer.   

Norton 360 comes with default settings already configured to offer comprehensive security protection with no required action to work properly.  Advanced users may want to adjust certain settings to meet their preferences and can easily do so via the Settings screen or sub-menus, or via the Quick Controls panel.  

Norton 360 continuously and automatically updates and upgrades your protection.  As long as your subscription is active and valid, Norton 360 will automatically update any new virus, spyware, or other threat definitions every 5-15 minutes. 

Norton 360 provides a very wide range of local as well as a secure online backup as a special off-site backup destination that includes 2GB of online storage. Norton 360 utilises 128-bit AES encryption of data during file transfer, 256-bit AES encryption on its storage servers. Users are also required to set up a Norton Account as an additional step to authenticate users.
