Mitch Dowd Carbon Neutral Sleepware

Environmentally conscious Australians can now sleep easy with the thought that their underwear and sleepwear are eco-friendly.

Mitch Dowd, one of the most recognized names in men's wear in New Zealand and Australia, recently released the first-ever carbon neutral underwear for men and sleepwear for men.

This made-in-Australia line of intimate clothing comes in innovative fabric such as high-quality soybean and organic tencel, which come in a range of earthy tones and interesting names such as white sand, doe, glacier, graphite, dusk black, hush raindrops, and sunset raindrops.

The Oekotec-certified sleepwear and underwear is free from toxic dyes and formaldehyde and meets the strict requirements of the Global Organic Textiles Standard.

To minimise the use of dyes, this eco-friendly Mitch Dowd collection comes in a softer colour palette.

The new Green by Mitch Dowd collection features hoodies to three-quarter-length pants for women, and boxer shorts, trunks, and T-shirts for men.

Eco-friendly operations
Mitch Dowd goes beyond using eco-friendly fabric and has embraced the green life openly by incorporating sustainable practices in its operations.

Aside from making investments to offset carbon emissions in the workplace, Mitch Dowd encourages its staff to minimise their carbon footprint by approving loans to green their homes, either through water tanks, grey water systems, or solar energy.

Even the Mitch Dowd, the artist behind the brand, lives by the eco-friendly rule: His mud brick home in central Victoria is solar powered and utilizes state-of-the art recycling and water salvage techniques

A brand established in 1987, Mitch Dowd designs and manufactures high-quality licensed characters and generic boxer shorts, fitted briefs and trunks, and socks for men, women, and children.
